I've dewormed my hens Saturday morning with a product containing Fenbendazole. I've been reading about it on the forum and it's been suggested that humans don't eat the eggs for a while. So we decided not to eat them. A friend of mine wants the eggs to hatch and I now have a broody sitting on eggs that was laid Sunday morning. Will there be residue in the eggs and will it have any effect on the embryos?

Presumably there will be residue in the eggs or it wouldn't be recommended not to eat them. Whether this would have any affect on growing chicks is another matter. Check the label, see if you can find any info on the manufacturer's website, maybe google the drug, or even email the manufacturer. I suspect the chicks will be fine.
