Deworming a small amount of birds

You can use horse paste fenbendazole but you can't add it to water.
You need to direct dose each bird straight to the mouth according to how much they weigh.
.23ml per pound.

Get the Safe-Guard horse paste.
Not the ivermectin one.

So the 1.87% Ivermectin/ 14.03% praziquantel paste for horses won't work, isnt recommended, to worm chickens?? Im not seeing any worms,tape segments, in my girls but it's been a while since I wormed them.

Yeah that horse paste would work too...for tapeworms.
 
Thanks. I thought so but saw a bunch of posts saying no ivermectin. Now to figure out the dose.
I wouldn't use ivermectin either.
I would use that particular product to treat tapeworms only.

For roundworms, the most common worm, I'd use the Safe-Guard.
