ok i went to that web link and know i have more question.

9 weeks - legfeathered breeds must be banded- no more problems with outside temperature
10 weeks
11 weeks - banding of the chicks

What is banded and banding?

16 weeks deworm the chicks

Banding is a way to identify chicks some people do and some don't. I only band ones I'm interested in keeping or to see if my guess on them being a roo are correct. I have also band them to keep them separate from ones I bought from someone else to let me know which ones are not from my flock. I have the numbered bands and keep a log as to who is who.

Once my chickens are 6 months old I worm them twice a year after that. Again some people do and some don't it up to you if you want to or not.
