I also just bought some poultry Conditioning as i saw some remarks on dark spots on roos cone could be a defficiency in their diets. I am sure it is not Avian pox or even Mites. I have researched this for several days. It might be scabs but Im not sure as they first appeared last summer. I sew a few more now than I did originally so that eleminates Avian Pox but it still could be Mites. I use DE liberally in their bedding and try to keep it clean. Even though I am practicing the deep method. I have not seen any mites anywhere on the birds. Last summer I would itch after picking them up and I started using the DE and that stopped. They are not infested with Mites but tey might carry a few? I was thinking the extra stuff in the Poultry Conditioning would help if they have a defficiency of any kind and since my girls have lost a few feathers from over aggressive Roos it could not hurt them all to get this stuff. I feed Layena feed and mix cracked corn in it to stretch it and I also let them free range in our yard daily. In the Summer they were out 8 or more hours. Less time out now that it is winter. I don't let them out till 11 or later then they stay out till dark. Anyway anybody know about the Poultry Conditioning and or the Dewormer in the prior post by me.????
