Deworming chickens

Assuming you are dealing with roundworm, the dose for either is .23ml per pound of weight and then retreat in 10 days.

Thank you very much. I'm not sure what they are but it's visable in their poop and excuse me for being gross my husband said he saw them hanging out the butt.

They probably haven't had much care. My daughter said the conditions were pretty bad and they had other animals also. I think it must be like a puppy mill except they are chickens.

Thanks again.

This is what roundworm looks like, just to clarify. And you are welcome.

Hi guys, don't know if it's useful to anyone, it took a good bit of research but the results are there... I only have a small flock and had an isolated incident of worm infestation in one of my hens, so I didn't have enough time to source flubenvet is the long story short, I used beaphar small bird dewormer and worked out the dosage instead 😁 I found that 5-6ml mixed with 100ml of water worked perfect! Worms were in her facies by the morning, I read somewhere that if you're having trouble getting your chook to drink, soak small pieces of bread in the solution and get her to ingest it that way 😉 hope this is helpful to someone out there!
