Deworming

Am I supposed to deworm my chicks? If so ... what kind, how, how much... all the extra questions.

Then I would recommend some natural dewormers (such as garlic and pumpkin seeds) added to their diet and only use chemical dewormers if an issue arises. I always keep Vetrix poultry aid on hand as well.

I don’t think they have worms. But I’ve never had chicks before so I wasn’t sure. I know you typically deworm a dog (I’m aware way different species ) but I was reading around and I wanted to make sure!

Many of us don't deworm unless we see obvious need for it (I have never dewormed my chickens, have dewormed a dog that was confirmed to have worms). If you believe your chickens have worms, best to have a vet do a fecal float and ID what types of worms you're dealing with so you can treat specifically for them.
