Yes, it's 3' wide and 1/2" guage, with some underground. We're predator rich (oh my) and it's worked out well.

I totally understand. I wasn't super hyped to wire up my windows, either. But, unfort, if you're planning on opening them at all, which you probably ARE, then they should be wired up. You'll sleep better at night. And you'd hate for something to happen and then WISH you had just done it when you were still in the construction phase.
