He sleeps with either the 6 yr old, the 7 yr old, or me and dh if he can get away with it. I think he just doesn't like the crib mattress on the toddler bed, but he's stuck with it until he outgrows his car bed (which he DOES love). It's kind of "musical beds" every night with him. LOL

Edit: Ok that sounds bad. Like I'm the mean mom who buys quail and doesn't buy her kid a decent mattress. For the record he loves his bed, which is car-shaped. It only fits crib mattresses though, which he doesn't like. Eventually he'll either A) outgrow the bed or B) be FORCED to get a new bed when the other kids start complaining about sharing with him. Right now, sleeping with the "baby" is a novelty so they think it's a priviledge.

That's pretty common for a 3 year old to want to sleep with older siblings, so no you don't sound like a bad mom.
