Thanks, Fisher. I wish you all the luck in the world building your coop. That would definitely be a daunting task for me. But there are so many great coop ideas on the coop page. One sweet lady even made a coop entirely from pallets! I see that you're in a colder climate though. Someone posted a picture of a small $199 Home Depot shed. Maybe you could look into that and then insulate it. I wonder what sort of insulating material is safe for our babies? Our coop really cost. All total, we probably will have spent $1000. He really didn't want to construct a run himself, although I know that can be done much more cheaply. Thank you for the compliments, all. You just realize toward the end of the project that you've got this really pretty setup that a raccoon can walk into and murder your chickens. I'm just really determined to make it predator proof.
