diabetic pregnancy anyone? its all just too much.

yes i got diabeties with my first and it went away after birth.. with my second i got it again but it stayed with me.. i gained too much weight and never dropped it .. don't worry about it so much.. get out and get some exercise.. .. you know what is good to eat and not.. do it for you and the baby.. eat less carbs or hardly any carbs and definatley no junk..you can pig out all you want on veggies.. some fruit but not alot. and watch your weight.. if your eating cause your stressed then find something else to do... plan a garden.. your dream home.. work on a puzzle.. just do something to get your mind off food and tension.. good luck with your pregnancy.. my daughter is on her third and she gets the high sugar count too.. but hers goes away each time because she watches her weight.. all her babies are normal and healthy... so relax..

I had gestational diabetes this last pregnancy. Got fat faster. Also got witchier faster. Less boo-hoo, more "I WILL KILL YOU!"

Take a deep breath, follow your diet exactly, and get enough exercise & sleep. That will help a lot.

thanks you guys for all the kind words and prayers, im really greatful for the advice too.
i do appologize for the total, complete and absolutely appaploptic hysteronics though. i was really freaking out, and showing a totally ugly and hormonally charged and just crazy lady side of myself that i normally try very hard to suppress, it used to be easier , but lately ive seen the crazy lady in the mirrror alot more!
so i wanted to say sorry, and thank you . i do appreciate all of it, thanks.

it's all understandable, it's an emotional time for you and a few wibbles are to be expected.
between the wibbles, I'd be doing my research and making sure my doctor was treating me properly for it. But I'm not diabetic and the wibbles are hitting me more often than ever since I got pregnant too. Got to love the mood-swings!
good luck

I haven't read all the way through. If you are insulin dependant please do as your OBGYN and specialist ask you to do!!! My sister takes shots and didn't take care of herself and was found in a coma!!! She is OK and baby was fine but she doddged a bullet since she got lucky by someone finding her!!!

I am not trying to scare you but you need to realize it is very important to eat healty!!sound like you have good doctors~

NO potaoes, rice, bad snacks, what over loading on carbs. they turn into sugar which take your blood sugars high. Eat good food and exersize to your limits. Don't over do it!

Ok, now i am gonna yell at you........sorry!

STOP WITH THE NEGATIVE THOUGHTS ABOUT THIS BABY! BELIEVE IN THIS PREGNANCY AND GET READY FOR THE BIRTH. I KNOW I HAVE NEVER BEEN IN YOUR SHOES SO I AM BEING A HYPOCRITE. I AM SORRY!!! I JUST THINK YOU NEED TO STAY POSITIVE!!!YOUR HUSBAND LOVES YOU, YOU ARE NEVER A BURDEN! STOP IT WOMAN~

ok, i will stop yelling now....feel free to kick me!

I understand what you mean about your beautiful babies Christian and Samuel. I too lost a baby at 21 weeks, my first baby, and his name was William Frederick. When he was born I named him after my late father and grandfather, because I knew he was with them. It is very hard to lose a baby, and then everyone else doesn't know what to say, so they don't really mention it. I then went on to have 3 beautiful more children, complications with all of them, but thank God they all made it! I will be praying for you and your baby. I also can understand where your husband is coming from-HE'S SCARED TOO! He is probably in denial, because he doesn't want to hurt again. I had gestational diabetes with my last boy, and he was born 2 months early, but he is now 18 months old and doing great. Good Luck.

No worries! Aren't hormones a blast? One minute you're up and the next munute you're crying in your dill pickles and ice cream. Actually I craved mexican food non-stop (seriously I had it for lunch and dinner every single day!).
