I have two Diamond doves. One's a male the others a female. He keeps mating her. Is that bad?

They may mate several times before she lays.

its common for sevral matings to take place before eggs arive. no, its not bad unless he is hurting her, or "driving" her exessivly, (chasing her around the cage/loft and pecking at her a lot)
