diaperrrr *pics included*

I showed my wife chickenmom on you tube and she was in hesterics!! My wife has a small buisness producing nappies for children, but after seeing this I think she is going to have to branch out. At least for the sake of our chooks!!
Be a good way of cleaning up after the kids have finished their dinner!

you can wash the diaper, but you probably wont have to if you just put a paper towel or pad inside to catch the poop. the fabric itself for the diaper shouldnt really get poopy.

and im currently house training my baby anyway, so she wont need the diaper for long! (i hope!!

After they have gone in the diaper, don't they get poo squished all over their feathers?

the poo does NOT get squished on the feathers. as you can see, its kinda a separate pouch that catches the poo. so it falls away from their feathers.

to house train a chicken, first they have to be hand trained. so you have to be able to have them resting on your arm/hand without having to hold them there. then, you teach them to poop on command. then you move on to the next step of teaching them to poop in a specific area. some people actually have that designated area be the toilet! but i will probably just have Callie share the litter box with my house rabbit.

heres a link you can check out about potty training chickens:

She looks adorable in that color!
In pict. #3, she looks to be thinking, "The color goes with my eyes........ but, does this make me look fat?"

I like those top 2 picts, she seems to be wondering how it goes on & what it does " Hmmm, portable nest?"
