I will add, that since ... I think it was cochins got me on to the "grow gel" for chicks I am hooked, they devour that stuff, and if I have a weak chick and it at least chirps I can get a little pc in her mouth so she can swallow it by herself so I don't force water down into her lungs... LOVE LOVE the stuff..... I got mine on ebay....

Yes, the "grow gel" is great! They love it and it really helps!

I just used the last bits on the Easter chicks so I'd better order some more. I ordered my first batch of grow gel through ideal hatchery, but I'll probably buy the next through ebay.

Hi guys, I'm having some computer problems. My laptop's charger packed up and I'm nowhere near a supplier (I'm on a Mac), so I'm going to have to hang on until Tuesday when we're in Cape Town and buy one from the store there. I'm borrowing a friend's charger now, but she's going to need it back tomorrow... So I'm not going to be on much over the next few days and if I am it will be on DH's iPad, which is NOT user-friendly, not to me anyway. So I'm not going to be very talkative! LOL It takes me forever to string a sentence together on that thing. But I will pop in now and then and update, if I can.
