as caught up as I can get. I predict a lot of catch up time tomorrow since it is going to be freezing. 50 degree drop is going to really suck. Going from shorts and flip flops to winter coat and fuzzy boots. Broody got up yesterday for a while and I checked her eggs and added more padding. Her eggs are nasty dirty and one is missing.

Oh and if I get a hand anywhere near her she wants to take a finger off. Hopeful something hatches because I am not putting her eggs in my bator and I really don't want to have to buy chicks to give her.

BRAHMA is out! and I saw my first PIP HAPPEN< like POOF! yup and then the silkie must have a few minutes later, so all have pips one hatched and the buttons nothing. But I think a turkey may want to start zipping!! I may have one tonight yet!! HOW FREAKING COOL IS THAT!!

I know! This same thing happened for the Easter hatch which was my worst hatch to date. I really don't want to repeat that nightmare. I was assisting all night, and day! I did pull the chick out of the bator, so now I think I'll go try to jam some more containers in there. It just makes no sense at all!!! I put in a wide container and it raises it maybe 2 %, another container 2%, a rag 2%. I seriously think I should only hatch in summer, then it's sky high!
Mich I wish I would have known more, we should have helped you install a fan.
