I need a ducky name!! I'm thinking maybe Wobbles. Since he's so clumsy right now. He's all alone!!! He will just have to be a loner. He's gonna be so spoiled. LOL. Since I don't have any other chicks in the house (he's the only baby right now), all the attention goes to him. LOL.

Love Wobbles!! now send 5 names to me for the tri and 4 blue ancona ducks I kept!

Got home. Had pips in saddle eggs. Helped 3 out of 4 out. 4th one was dead with its beak sticking out. The eggs are full of chicks. They don't have any room. Have 4 other chicks that have already hatched. May get a decent hatch. One turkey egg is pipped a day early. I gave it a little more room to breathe. I have a few more saddle shaped eggs to go. Not many though. They are hatching first. Gonna candle at dark and see if anything needs an air hole.

its not the crows, vultures or the others, mostly sparrows, they go into the chickens run, house etc, they have the little bugs, sparrows are getting so plentiful around here that i can't keep them out of my chicken house, they fly into the house thru the chicken door into the run

We don't really have that many. Really. It's the crows!!! They are terrible here. And they do carry the mites. Smaller birds would be eaten by my chickens.

I have seen them chase them. Crazy birds they are.

I finally had enough and requested a refund on the doz Muscovy eggs ordered and PAID for from a farm in TX on Oct 6th of LAST year! Last communication was may 4th and now I get another PM saying she sent them! must have gone to wrong address, I requested an refund and now she says please let her send me the eggs first thing in the morning! sucker Sal says ok send me the darn eggs, uggggg I don't want the darn things now! I want the bators CLEAN and free!! Why did I let her swindle me yet again! seriously not like me, but I just don't feel much up to arguing lately. whatever just be done with it. I will sell every one of them or give them away.

both of us need smacked!

Here is a giggle for you all! ..... So last night I posted on my Facebook that I am in desperate need of an incubator. I just got up this morning to some very funny replays by my friends who I love to bits!!! Just one person was being stupid tho. He said sit on them! Ha ha very funny. But what is super funny is the two serious replys. "Would the oven work?“ and "could you use an electric blanket?" Lol lol I told them thanks for the suggestions but no. But on the plus side someone may have one I could borrow

But seriously, why would an electric blanket not work?? If you could get the humidity right and maintain the right temp. Sure it would. Would not be much difference than a hen sitting on them. Would it be?? I don't think so.

OK. Another very very long day!!

Went to TSC and bought a tube of the Poultry Powder. 1 50ml of Ivomec, some 20 ga needles and a syringe. Plus a few other stops which I won't bore you. Came home and first thing I started was dusting the13 chickens. Will to test the bag thing I TRIED to put a chicken in it.

Forget that idea. That wasn't going to work at all. Understand its me, myself and I here. So I dusted the rooster first. He is very easy going. Wasn't bad. The girls on the other hand.

Boy oh boy. Had to first catch them. I'm

remember. Then the only way I could do it once I caught them was to hold them upside down put the dust under there wings. Rub it in. Turn them. Put some on the bellies, turn them put some on there back, turn them and put some on there AZZ!!!

Rub it in. Got crapped on a few times.

My wife came outside and was laughing at me because she sees the chicken upside down flapping with a cloud of dust every where. Which I forgot the dust mask. So at the moment my nose is burning. And I can still taste the powder. On the bright side I have no creepy crawlers on me. Sort of dusted myself in the process. And probably have enough in my blood strem they cant stand being on me.

All good I guess. Feel a bit light headed. HAHAHA but I always do.

then cleaned it again and dusted everything in there. Then put the 1cc of Ivomec in there water. Will do that again tomorrow. Hope this works.

What 4 days it has been.
