Incubator was due today. I candled, added another sponge, and now I continue waiting. At least I think there is still a chance!
Broody one is due Tuesday. Broody two in two weeks. One with a injured foot seems broody. I gave her one egg tonight to see. I am willing to give her three. And broody number four needs broken. She started today. She has a cross beak, and has enough problems. She would starve. Besides, I don't need more chicks! !!

My wife needed eggs yesterday, I had 32. I told her to buy some at the store. LOL> I set them all in the incubator.

haha. nothing like having the eggs you will ever need. and having to tell your spouse to buy some for eating.

Ok, I have a question. I had one lone chick hatch yesterday which was day 21. She is very healthy but she seems very stressed that she is by herself. She keeps jumping at the side of the incubator and won't stop chirping. The other eggs are wiggling but they have not pipped and I can not tell if they are chirping because the lone chick is too loud. Lost a Duck last night. It was the one with the topnot on its head. Well, this morning it dont have a head. I set out the trap.

She is a Silver Campine. I thought that I was not suppose to candle and tap until day 25. It is still day 21 and they are moving. Should I still do it?

wait yesterday was day 21! you can add water and feed in there for her yes! that way she will get the others riled up and hatch! just do it fast!
