i have 5 basque hen chicks drying out, 15 assorted eggs incubating here that i am using for a control on my overseas hatch and some polish arriving monday.

Add that to the 400+ chicken duck quail goose turkey guinea and peafowl cooking in the Philippines.

I am normal right?
i love reading byc. lots to learn from you guys but i was wondering, What do you guys do with all these chickens? lol

we raise em , eat their eggs, and some eat their meet, they are hours of entertainment, and lots of people sell em too

I hear ya, its alot of work, I didnt do chicks this year i bought all started pullets and am getting a dozen eggs a day, of course I dont get to have fancy lookin chickens (started pullets are usually red crossed or leghorns) but I get my eggs and lots of em. But like everyone else I had a good 2 year period hatching all the time, you have to love doing it or its not fun, sometimes i miss those little fuzzies!

oh god, I snuck pullets in at night and threw em in the run hoping all was well, no place to quarentine were my g/f couldnt find em lol

So I bought eggs and had them shipped to me. I won 2 auctions from the same person, and they said they would combine shipping if you won more than one of the auctions. The shipping was originally 15 per auction (said they were shipping flat rate priority mail). The combined shipping total was $22. Cool. I had no issue with this. When I (finally) got the eggs today, It turns out she only spent around $12 to ship the package. I understand that the shippers have to pay for packaging, ect, but this seems a little high to me. Do I say something, or just let it go? - I was already a little cranky that they weren't shipped when they were supposed to be, without letting me know--
