at 2.5 bucks an egg, 4.5 eggs a week for 2.5 months is the equivalent 6.25 x 50lb bags of chick starter PER HEN

So all the eggs you have hatched have come from NPIP flocks or were local? I guess you are moving to Oklahoma were all it takes to be NPIP is $5 and a few hours of your life catching, testing and releasing birds. Oh and cost of living is a lot less here so you could have more birds.
