Does a hairline crack mean its too dry? There is no "hole" but more like a window starting to bust with three cracks splintering it...Im just worried about the baby not having an air hole to breath?

No didn't take eggtopsy images was late and my tablet was not charged so didnt get the pics i did fallow all you said about when to assist but when i opened them they where complitely formed but stiff no movement nothing just stiff .they looked just like the other one I took its on my blog .i wont forget pics next time i promise I'm giving them quick chick that in a electrolyte powder you put in the water so I'm hopefull here's some pics of the survivors

She came running up the back porch hopped on the hot tub and we were yapping and I look over and just had to burst in a giggle, she was like "what mom" I had to share her loveliness! he he he My lil chicken hen of a daughter!

My opinion would be to cull the 2 in the box. If you are going to try to save them you need to read sally's chicken orthodics. Put paper towels under them so they can try to move. Good job. Cute chicks!

Ya I did cull them there was no hope for the one and slim for the other the one was moving but the leg wasn't going to be right no matter what and I might need to cull the other one if it don't snap to I'm giving it one more day

settled in for now. Lost a bunch, see below. Got girls on eggs some silkies in the brooder and 60 eggs in the bator currently

Lost 6 birds in the move and a fox got another 6. main losses came from psycho ex landlord. poisoned off 76 birds, 3 dogs 2 puppies a goat and one of our horses. I was away from the house for about a month dealing with my brothers dads death, land lord got ****** i caught him charging us rent when the house had been foreclosed on and sold... real nightmare of a mess
