Here are my young Heritage Delawares cockerels crowing yesterday morning. You can also hear in the back ground my GLW that are the same age crowing. First time I heard them crow.
Sorry no video. Was to dark for my phone that far away. This is just for the sound. I think they sound so funny when they first start to crow!
Got trouble one of my younger chicks got trampled as can happen and when I found it ,it was on its back and I put it in my aquerium brooder for observation but it just keeps gasping for air?! Kinda like its talking but nothing's coming out
I sure have missed a lot, and I haven't posted for the longest time. Anyways, I've made a break-through. My incubators have all been cleaned and have been in storage for the past month. Of course, I'm not sure how long that will last. My crested khaki Campbell duck trio just started laying last week and I'd love to hatch out some more ducklings.
I only have 5 chicks left in the brooder and they are currently being treated for coccidiosis. They are breeder quality buff laced polish.
I greatly down sized on the older birds. I now have 4 ducks, 2 young geese, 3 pigeons, 10 LF chickens, and 24 bantams. The feed bill has been lowered to $20 a week and everything has been more manageable.
Goosey, Gooser, and Aflac are still as sweet as sweet can be, but poor Gooser developed angel wing 2 days ago. I wrapped up his wings which will hopefully solve the problem, but he's not too happy with me, haha.
Sally, I LOVE the Serama Saloon! It looks amazing.

Hey everyone! After 2 days of reading 900+ posts, I'm back. I sure have missed a lot, and I haven't posted for the longest time. Anyways, I've made a break-through. I'm really not sure. I have had one pull through before, but they often pass away. It's possible that there is internal damage from being trampled. What ever you do, don't lose hope. Every situation is different.
