After 2 days of reading 900+ posts, I'm back. I sure have missed a lot, and I haven't posted for the longest time. Anyways, I've made a break-through. My incubators have all been cleaned and have been in storage for the past month. Of course, I'm not sure how long that will last. My crested khaki Campbell duck trio just started laying last week and I'd love to hatch out some more ducklings. I only have 5 chicks left in the brooder and they are currently being treated for coccidiosis. They are breeder quality buff laced polish. I greatly down sized on the older birds. I now have 4 ducks, 2 young geese, 3 pigeons, 10 LF chickens, and 24 bantams. The feed bill has been lowered to $20 a week and everything has been more manageable. Goosey, Gooser, and Aflac are still as sweet as sweet can be, but poor Gooser developed angel wing 2 days ago. I wrapped up his wings which will hopefully solve the problem, but he's not too happy with me, haha. Sally, I LOVE the Serama Saloon! It looks amazing.
Poor little chick... I'm not sure if there's anything you can do except separate it. That's what I did will it snap out of it do you thinkI LOVE listening to the first crows. They always make me laugh. Thanks for sharing!
