On a more positive note, look who got to go for a ride yesterday.

It's not a good picture, but there she is. Goosey did great in the car. She wore her diaper harness and simply sat on a pillow talking to us while I drove. She honestly didn't even seem nervous. She was too busy enjoying her time with us. The girl sitting next to her is my sister.

cute!

8 Ameraucanas, 1 Andalusian, 1 Wellsummer 1 Lemon Cuckoo Orp hatched overnight. 17 chicks from 35 in lockdown. The remainder were underdeveloped so had quit over the last week. This is a great step for me as I did not have one drown or poop out after pipping.

One of the Andalusians has scissor beak and a single eye. looks like I may need a few more eggs HFR

18 chukar are pipping.
the chukar I hatched for Chad were gorgeous chicks too

Today has been insane my cat moved her kittens (she's a first time mom) into a drawer and when she hoped in to feed them squished two of Tahoe three killing them then five min later I look out and see my chicks all over the yard running around they escaped the pen and where trying to find thair way back in we got them all thank goodness and fixed the issue
Oh my, poor kitties :(

Only Sally posted more than me on this thread. Gosh, suddenly I don't feel so bad for neglecting you guys lately

Just kidding.

yes it does, my girls still give me issues, the heat effects them too, I have gotton some out of shape eggs these past two weeks, yesterday they all looked normal. I noticed that my blue hens also have a little bit of deposit spots on their eggs, as the others don't, weird.

When you say deposit spots. You talking about the white chalky looking spots?
