So how much would you add to a 3 gallon waterier. I need to do something. My chickens have had issues this past summer. Too wet and humid. Have a few of them right now that want to sleep all the time. No runny nose, coughing or sneezing. They fall asleep standing up. Sleep most of the day. Maybe thats the problem. Need more vitamins. I have something like that but it's really old.
You should post about this in the E&D section.

Omg!! just found out my egg turner has been off for five days!!!!!¡!! Ggrrrrrrrr. My DH unplugged it to plug in the paper shedder and never plugged it back in!!!!!!! Grrrrrrrrdrrrr

What day are you on? If it was around day 14 when he unplugged it they should be o.k. After day 14 turning is not as essential as during the first week, when it's very important. Fingers crossed!

Yea, they are almost all good now. Still have 2 that aren't right. I do notice though that when they are not feeling right there poo is very dark forest green with the white cap mixed in. Not watery but runny I guess. Like goo. lol

TMI thanks! LOL Have you seen the infamous "poop chart"? Handy for helping diagnose ailments and comparing "samples" and in some cases reassuring you what's considered normal:

I wonder what it was, but I'm glad to hear they are better! Hopefully the last 2 will recover as well.

HAHA. So hard to tell by those. They all look so close to each other. They just still may have worms. Maybe I killed off too many at once with the Valbazen. Which now they sort of are in shock.

I like the pic of the broody hen poo. I had a LB that was broody till I broke her. And somebodies poo was huge like that in the pic. LOL. I though a dog got in there. hahaha

I know, it's gross lol My broodies, good grief, you smelled it long before you saw it.

Remember when you deworm you must follow up after 10 days to kill the worms that hatched from eggs laid before the first treatment.

I ended up with another broody hen. Her eggs were all perfectly normal, but now at day 14, one has a ruptured air sac (rotates around the entire egg) and the other 2 have very loose air cells. What has this hen been up too? They are all in a top nesting box and they haven't moved.
