This must be difficult for you...

On a lighter note. I snapped some pics of our cats doing silly things:

Kitten laundering (they climbed in there by themselves just after I've done a load):

And old man Makado having to stretch a bit to get to the food:

Their food bowl lives on the other side of the water can usually, but the pile of clean dishes were a bit bigger than usual today.

That pic is adorable.

My broody's on day 8, so I decided to candle quick and see if anything's happening in the eggs. I just pulled 2 quick as she was pecking the crud out of me. Jack's going to be a dad!

Shopping list for chicken drugs

Amprolium (corid) - for coccidiosis
VetRx - colds, croup, scaly legs and a de-stresser
Oxytetracyclin (Agrimycin) for resp illnesses
Sulfamethoxine (Dimethox) for just about anything and my "go to first" drug - including coccidiosis and resp infections

I have only had to give one treatment of dimethox when a chicken developed a runny nose. stopped symptoms instantly

bactim or septra is sulfamethoxine - often used in humans for UTI. pet shops sell it for fish tanks. you could open capsules and disolve in water
Bumping this back so new people can view, any updates to this?
