Hi farmgirl!!!Hello everyone! Just wanted to join in!
I have 3 sets if eggs: 14 lavender orpingtons, 8 blue Swedish and 12 showgirl eggs. I have a brinsea 20 Eco that is ordered and shipped, but its stuck in USPS land, so I built an incubator (thanks to the wonderful information on BYC) and I set my Orpington and duck eggs two days ago in the homemade bator, I plan on switching them to the brinsea once it gets here and stabilizes and then use my homemade one as a hatcher. I am out of town at BFs family Christmas (my mom is turning the eggs, bless her) and according to USPS my showgirl eggs and brinsea were delivered yesterday!! Can't wait to get home today and set up my incubator!!
I know!!! I love marans!!! but partial to the blues!!I want the black and white baby maran...CCCUUUUTTTTEEE .Looks like a penquin!

I arranged her brooder around a bit. I have a roost now, and another container of water 'cause she doesn't seem to drink as much as she eats. Boy, does she ever eat!![]()
