Oh Lordy!!!! If I had the 'hiding under the chair' icon on my iPad (we're driving) - LOL. I have a bator full of Delawares and about 120 chickens running around!!! LOL!! Probably had 3 hatches since the 'Halo' and 'Purple Rain' hatch :-(. Are your Marans cross hatch till around??

oh YAYAYYAY!!!! what do you mean cross hatch? lol now I am hiding under chair!! lol they are eggs from dura max and also DMrippy! I am in love with the bluess!!!!! OMG they are amazing little cuties!! not that they all arent LOL

Did you see Harmony hatched her serama?? YAY she has 2 from Bhep and 4 from CPL!!! they are the sweetest!!

Hope is having a lazy day- she wouldn't get out of the bed/roost for me to get a good picture!

I arranged her brooder around a bit. I have a roost now, and another container of water 'cause she doesn't seem to drink as much as she eats. Boy, does she ever eat!

No my dear, I'm not hatching (yet) I'm just here for moral support and entertainment   Am going to join the fun next year sometime. Still planning... I need to get a 'bator and some hatching eggs. Waiting for things to return to normal after Xmas and NY.

Oh wow! Still no hatching yet? Do you know what??? I just read you grew up in SA. I am Zimbabwean. Only moved over here 7 years ago - thus the 'pica ins' handle, coz I have 5 of them - LOL!!!! Amazingly small world, coz 1/2 of Zim is now in NZ

awwwwe she is so cute!! she is a happy peepers!! does she sit on that roost? just make sure she cant eat the plastic kiddo... for some reason chickens are attracked to plastic and styrofoam like its a candybar!!!

Its tape. She only pecks at it once and a while and I'm confident it won't break off. I have her in my bathrobe while I'm typing this and she loves it- nice and warm AND she has company! She is full of sass. XD
