I've never had to deal with wry neck before.

Thanks. They have been on medicated feed, but like I said, they have had save-a-chick and probiotics added to their water from day one. I also have 2/3 month old orpingtons and month old brahmas that have been on the same feed etc with no problems. I know I should probably cull them, but I have 3 little girls that adore these chickies. Only 3 of them hatched out of 10 eggs thankfully, or I would probably be dealing with even more issues.
If anyone you know is buying faverolles off ebay, have them message me so I can tell them not to buy from this seller. This is going to break my little girl's hearts, and mine.

Save-a-chick doesn't have the vitamins needs to treat wryneck. I'm pretty sure poultry nutri-drench does have them.
Unfortunately it sounds like the breeders went properly nourished and the babies are paying for it with vitamin deficiencies. Try the nutridrench, or you can look up the individual vitamins on that neat website someone posted a few pages back...maybe that was you?

Okay, will do. Thanks!

:)

Hey so I laid all the eggs down the other day and the viable ones seem great. What's interesting is that the #23 the duck that had attached to the top seems to have come loose and seems more like the others, well besides its air cell is now fully fixed to the side. Any ideas on why the embryo seems loose? I'll try to get a pic and bid when I get home.
