I will probably try to get it to about 60-68%.

I had a side air cell in my first shipped hatch. I moved it from laying to sitting big end up in a cut down egg carton and it grew enough toward the top that the chick was able to pip and hatch fine. I left it sitting up for hatch.

I'll keep that in mind. Tho the duckling seems to be growing better with the egg in it's side

Okay, got four hatched (they were all hatched by the time I woke up) and four note pipped/zipping.
Three DIS. I didn't add moisture early enough for the TRUE early birds.

I know it has only been like 2 years. Thinking about getting out of the buff business. I am going to focus on my blacks and possibly a new project bird in the making. It is going to be kept a secret until I have my greedy paws on the actual eggs. Very very rare and hard to come by in the US. Possible delivery in 2 weeks or well I will have to drive and meet her half way as she refuses to ship them.

My friends and family thinks I'm crazy. Maybe I am. But my gut tells me I have a problem with my flock. So I made an appointment with a vet. I'm talking some of my chickens to the doctor. :lau

You guys would understand.
By the way Sally the three samaras that hatched passed away. Hope the tests comes out with something antibiotics would solve. I would hate to have to cull my flock

way too many. Almost 75% of what I hatch dies between 1 week to a month. Big chickens not really but running nose on a few which was cured with antibiotics. I don't know, but I can't be doing the brooder so wrong that I loose chicks.
