Diary & Notes ~ Air Cell Detatched SHIPPED Chicken Eggs for incubation and hatching

This little guy didn't get the memo on how to properly hatch.

I woke up and ran over to the incubator to see if any hatched over night (3 had hatched) and then I saw this egg.



Here's a better view.




It made a large hole and stuck it's leg out. It seemed stuck, so I zipped the shell and put it back in the incubator. It should be hatched soon.

Sally.... 5 baby croad langshans and sportsman hummin with turkey eggs and duck eggs...come a long way from 2 yrs ago eh!? Lol

2 baby chicks out this am... One more egg left to go. All went fine on my two that pipped last night! They are still wet and tired, but leaving them for now! My first ever hatch! 2/8 with the possibility of 3/8 eggcited!

My stupid springers dug under the white faced spanish, killed a hen and scattered everyone else all over the woods!!! Searching outside in the pricker bushes for them in the dark and here the ROO is already in the coop and four hens are on the roof! the rest are MIA probably on the house roof or the dogs ate them completely!!! ughhhhhh

Sally, Sally,,, The hedemora's are coming,,,MC is delivering them for me,,, she has pics up of them...

It feels so great to finally get a breed that you have been searching for, now if only I could find the scot's at a price my pocket can handle.

I had three eggs left, one hatched and two sat there for two more days alive, I attempted to open them up but I culled them, big weak chicks not sure what was going on in them! I had two the last time as well, I did the spot check in the cabinet and found temps still decent all around, just weird!!

I BLAME IT ON THE HEN!!! yea the hen did it!!
