Oh, wow, I want snow too! We haven't had as much as a flake yet. My son is so upset, he wanted a white Xmas.
DH and I spent the day running outside every time one of the chickens as much as sneezed. At least he was properly dressed the last few times LOL He ran outside in his underpants this morning. I think that alone gave the fox a good fright. Thank goodness the neighbours are on the other side of the house.
I hoping the hardware store will open tomorrow so we can get some poles and fence off a section of the yard to put the chickens in. I'm not going to relax until that is done. Or go anywhere. But it should be dark in about an hour, so I can close the chickens up then. This has been a long day! But I'm so, so glad we didn't lose a chicken. DH got outside just in time.
these are those two that had the saddle air cells, but I hatched saddled before...Maybe something was wrong with them.![]()
It is REALLY black! If it's what I think it is, than the sire is a black americauna. Even the americaunas have a different color bellies as chicks. We shall see.Wow that is scary Sumi!
Rock-congrats on the hatch!
Patrick-I have never seen a chick so black. I wonder if it will stay that way or change when feather start coming in.
Sally-how is your wrong end pipper?
