There are holes in the side of the incubator by the water reservoirs so I can fill them with water via a tube.

Wow, you have been busy!
YES I was up at midnight cleaning up after I finished making it. (Cleaning up as in pushing everything to the side of my room to clean up today lol) It took about three hours. So far the temperature is about 110-120 and the humidity is 20. AHHHHHH What should I do?? Poke more holes in the side?? I was trying to avoid that so I could keep the humidity up during lock down.

You using a homemade bator? I know just what you mean I had te same problem with mine. Remember- hot air rises. So if you want to cook it down without lowering the humidity, either lower the floor of the bator or raise whatever is giving off the heat. And the proportional to the square of the distance-- if the heat lamp is 2 feet away compared to one foot away, the heat is 1/4 as much. So if you use those then you don't need to poke more hole and can keep the humidity up

The lamp can't be put any higher up, and I have been measuring from the farthest away from the heat. Urg. The floor can't be lowered.

Does this chickie live? I started to video ours but then when I noticed it was going wrong I shut off the camera...and deleted the video. I deleted ever picture with that egg in it. I just felt so much guilt I am trying to block it from my mind.

YESSS! Here are a few pictures while I wait for my next video to load to Youtube:

My new incubator^

HOPE! ^

Her brooder in a different place in my room. ^ (new lamp!!)

How I made the incubator. I cut the viewing hole at the top and put a glass picture frame there ^

Put water reservoirs at the bottom and put marbles between them and taped them down so they wouldn't move. ^

Put the screen down on top of them ^

And the thin screen ^
700

All closed up. I am now trying to regulate them temperature and humidity. :D
