Yeah you could try lowering the wattage of the light bulb? That really helps. Is the light inside or outside the bator? I found that when it's inside a simple 25 watt works pretty well, and a 60 watt works good on the outside
It's a 50 watt bulb.
 
Can you get a thermostat somewhere? That would help regulate the temperature. It doesn't have to be fancy, I had a 2nd hand jacuzzi thermostat in mine.

If you could find a 25 watt it would help a lot with the temp problems. Also, is your incubator on the floor or on a table? If you moved the incubator somewhere lower the air might be a degree or two cooler
I just bought these ones for 30 bucks at a pet store and they didn't have any lower ones that were red. I guess I'll just have to keep poking a few holes until it gets perfect... But none on top.

I use a regular bulb from walmart 25 watt...clear light...works for me. Even their brooder is a clear bulb poor chickies ..I wanted red but the feed store was out.
