this is 1st set coming of "won" eggs! I am hearing I am wacked for choosing these over the wellsumers and exibition RIR. But I gotta stick as close to what I got as I can! I cant build more coops!

I have 2 left to hatch on Monday . Diff hatch LOs and WOs(but i think tall the whites were infertile ordidnt start.)

These eggs a bunch left but i only saw 3 that had life for sure when i set so they all 3 have hatched
.but I always set the iffys too ....never know.

Yep I raided my sons and my nieces legos. It worked grate with a small chick , I was gonna try small pvc pips and some sort of wheels for if she needed something when she got bigger but for little chicks it works awsome just need two long ones to connect the parts with wheels on both sides the wheels of course and then some leggos to make the wheels tall enough then add whatever you need to be structurely sound and if you have it even something to help hold something in front of the chick like chick starter. Then I cut up a wash cloth and sewed it to the legos , after I cut a hole for her little bum so she could poop and two holes for her little legs to go thru.

it was really tempting to put some of my own eggs in, but i've got 45 shipped eggs here. what if lots hatch? so i didn't.

i'm sorta strange about this hatch. i guess i'm getting more relaxed.

i didn't bother to candle before setting, so i don't know if i have scrambled eggs or not.

for some reason i've decided not to start the turner until day 2.

the speckled sat for a week after shipping. the bcms and sweeds sat only overnight.

my incubator seems to turn out most of the chicks on the evening of day 20.

Many ppl add a few of their own as a test for the shipped.then if the local eggs hatch and not shipped.,,,.its the shipped Yyou could have them almost all hatch but really unlikely Id guess 25 or less.I had one hatch in 14? that were shipped that i got 10 of 14 hatch Most of 12 or 14 eggs of my eggs 3-5 hatch
But i sure have some pretty chickies!!!

If it was me... 7 or 8 would!!
BUT i think mostly it IS the shipping! , Mine often start to pip on day 20
. Some even hatch all the way then...but not all for me.....a few.,
