I want to do fermented feed with my layer crumbles, will that work? Or does it have to be pellets? And what kind of container do you feed them in?

You can use layer crumbles. This is what I feed in:

Squirt is still alive, breathing, and seems to be resting a little easier.. She was chirping a lot earlier today and trying to get out of her bowl and opening her eyes but she was still weak so I made her stay in we bowl. I offered her some food but she refused. I have some save-a-chick that I could mix into some water and see if she'll drink?

cochins - 2 out, 2 external pips, 3 just happily chirping in their shells like i have all the time in the world

Try that. If it won't drink by itself carefully dip it's beak in the water to show it. Good luck! I really hope this chick pulls through

Squirt didn't make it through the night.... I buried her this morning. Oh well, I have 9 happy healthy chicks to take care of still

Ok, still no internal pip in the goose egg and he has majorly slowed down. A lot less active. I talked to Cletic Oaks Farm and she didn't think there was much hope.

So has anyone created an artifical internal pip before? I will do anything for this egg and I really think that I'm going to lose it.
