i tihnk my chicken just laid a double-yolker…

also, if there any reason why sometimes her eggs are a rich dark brown, and others they are different bands of shades of brown? like in the picture?

also, i had 11 chicks hatch! but Robin and Squirt didnt make it, bringing it down to 9 survivors.

I received 9 and all their air cells were detached some even had been ruptured, I'm on day 11 with only one that even developed (it has a saddle air cell now) & 2 I can not see inside of when I candled so I'm waiting til I smell something funny. Last time they were too big, this time they are too small! Almost all of them look like this! I was not expecting THIS to be a problem of all things!
