Oh and it is spring break so anything to keep me busy so I don't have to listen to kids whine or fight.

I've got Swiss chard, cabbage, onions, peas, garlic, tomatoes, and bell peppers in my raised bed garden I made. I have potatoes and corn growing in tubs with bean and okra seed sprouts I need to put out in the garden bed. :). I'm in the panhandle of FL and loving this warmer weather!

if you get bored, bernie needs a hand finishing the beach - see the pics on my thread
I need someone like Bernie! I was checking out the pics earlier.

You are way ahead of me. I have snap peas, carrots, onions, radishes, potatoes in the garden and tomatoes and peppers in the house still. Still gets a little cold for them at night. I need to get them hardened off. Of course I think they are saying we have a chance for wintery mix this weekend.

pulled the quail day 13 all clears, shipped eggs and I HAVE NO LUCK with finding a boy quail for Harmony ann! :hit I will need to be able to purchase 100 eggs for her to hatch 2 by the sounds of it, I have asked EVERYONE on local sites, CL FB and no one has buttons that I can drive to get! so until I can afford to buy a ton and send them here we will have 3 button quail freeloaders : (
I know someone about 30 minutes from where I live with lots of fertile button quail that she is hatching all the time, I could send you some if she has any?

All of this talk about gardening is making me jealous. I want spring to come. Not the calender spring, but the nice weather. I woke up to a temperature of - 9 degrees. If the heat lamps were to ever go out, I'd be in big trouble...

I jinx it.. I just walked down to the barn and the duckling's heat lamp was unplugged. Thankfully it had only been for a short while and everyone seems ok.

I looked at all of their feet. 10 out of 13 ducklings seem to have bumble foot. Large, hard, wrinkly bumps instead of nice soft foot pads...

I'm not sure how I'm going to treat so many of them and try to keep all of those feet clean. I've never dealt with bumble foot before, but from what I read, you can use Tricide Neo for mild cases. Tricide Neo is expensive, but I always have some on hand because of my koi.
