I had to do a little digging, but not much. Only one of them was positioned correctly, but all of their breaks were somewhat near the air cells.weird! usually the weird air cells and lack of space cause excess fluid loss and not the other way. If they are still breathing after this long, they should be ok if they don't get navel infections and they are given plenty of absorption time, I have noticed with the ointment use I never have to remove membranes, they always get out when they are ready as long as I cleared the air cell part of the shell away. Did you have to go digging for their beaks or were they low in the air cell?![]()
I'm mainly worried about how weak they are.. It's honestly shocking. I have never seen chicks this weak and I can't think of any reason except for the condition of the parents of the eggs.
