I used the hovabator thermostat - the digital one I took with me was a cooling thermostat.
Should I use the digital thermostat - (STC-1000) - it does not require a relay - the wattage is only about 120 - or 1 amp.
not stupidi have a stupid question lol i clean my bator with bleach and water solution and rinse really well ... is it gonna hurt anything if it still smells of bleach despite multiple rinses with very hot water
Quote: ty oz ... now to just get the temp to hold steady again and ill be good to go ...
make sure you have mass in the bator - a couple of zip locks of water - to simulate the volume of the eggs - it will make the bator more stable than heating and cooling just air.ty oz ... now to just get the temp to hold steady again and ill be good to go ...
Quote: never thought of doing that ... good idea ... i usually just let it warm up and run and then get the eggs in ....
most heat spikes are 4-8 hrs after you put the eggs in - or after mass is heated - I find it more stable to do it this way.never thought of doing that ... good idea ... i usually just let it warm up and run and then get the eggs in ....
