Lol where they going I live in England. We have loads of them breeds here. I was actually thinking of shipping some of my self-Blue Cochin Bantams to the US As they are a rare breed

The self-blues are getting more common. I even noticed that some of the hatcheries are selling them.

I love cochins! My favorite variety is the silver laced cochin bantam.

Black betty has two pips!!! but the other two look a few days later by air cells! is that ok?

Ok ladies and gentlemen its just 9 weeks until Getting the Flock out of here - part three

Part one was a great success and Part 2 saw almost 300 eggs from the USA travel 7500 miles.

I need the following to complete the master plan:

Still on the list are

24 Barred Rock - heritage class
24 Giant Jersey - heritage class
24 Rhode Island Reds - heritage class
24 Sussex - heritage class
24 Creme Legbars
24 Ameracauna/Aracauna
24 Marans
24 White Crested Black Polish
12 bourbon red turkey
12 royal palm turkey
12 peafowl
24 french guinea fowl
120 Texas A&M coturnix
12 tolouse goose
6 emu (may have to wait till early 2014)
and anything cute or interesting I find on the way

I can take partials if I can mix n match suppliers to get a minimum of 18 large fowl.

Due to the nature of the travel and time associated with it, I need eggs laid May 23-28 I fly out on May 30, arrive June 1 and eggs will be set on June 2. for shipped eggs they needs to be shipped Monday may 27

Ask your chickens if they want to have children living in paradise? Maybe somewhere they can retire too lol
PUPPIES!!!! he he he

I just had to post some of my chickie pics! LOL.

This is Omlet. I am not sure what breed she is, and all I know is that she is one FAT chick!

Tweet. A 3 month old Serama. I just found out that he is a roo.

Tweet (there's a pic of him above), and Pete. Another Serama. They are both sweet! The one closest to the camera is Tweet, his pic's above. And the one behind him is Pete.

awwww I love them! are your serama from bhep? Did you know we have more than 30 right now? shhhh don't tell! I wanted to get as many as possible to grow out for Harmony to choose her breeding stock! we have hatched eggs from around the US now so she has some great birds to choose from!

ok scratch that 30 I forgot she hatched the last set and add 12 to that number!!! OMG! our plans are choosing and then selling pairs/trios depending on amount of roos!

Well a bit of excitement this morning. Was outside having a cup of coffee and planning my big breeding area and here comes a opossum making a b-line right for my big girls. Thank god opossum's can't run fast. He's now in the big riven in the back. First one I have ever seen here in 10 years. Seen them on the road a mile away. Well, he won't be here ever again.

Anyways, set 27 eggs this morning. Let the count down begin. Already a bit of an issue. Rather have them right away. I put the eggs in a cardboard carton on top a 1x2 so all I have to do is tilt them. Well 27 eggs is heavy. LOL So I have an arc. So I guess I will just have to actually left up and move the carton over the 1x2 3x a day. Not really a big deal.

Well now I just wait till next Thursday for my first candle!!

Alexander still won't eat or drink. I tried shoving his beak in the water, but I didn't have any luck. How long can a chicken last without water?

I'm getting really worried. I love him so much and he is extremely friendly. I guess I should start a thread.
yes and hook us up with the link then ok?
