Oh and we just got our first pip from our olive eggers that were part of the "found them at the PO" saga! For those who do not know they were shipped to us as replacements only to find them a week after they had been delivered unknowingly to us. They were at least 10 days if not 2 weeks old when set. I am hoping at least 2 out of the 4 possibles will make it. Yay for 1 pip, hope it is not a loner, tomorrow is day 21! Oh and it pipped really high???? Guess there is no need to worry about it. I am just used to seeing it closer to the air cell line. This pip is almost at the top of the egg!

my incubator is still being a bit touchy but that ziplock trip has helped !!! ty OZ !!! and daisy and the other hen both gave me another eggs today so that makes 8 to go in the bator ...
and somehow 6 little assorted bantams ( im guessing I have some cochin and some silkies ) got in a box in my truck while we were shopping for puppy stuff at TSC lol i swear the dog must of got them could not have been me lol
speaking of the pup - her bantams (LOL) spilt all their water and flooded their container so i took them out and told her to keep them warm while i fixed it .. this is the result

she did surprisingly well and didnt try to eat anyone and even tried to tuck them under her legs ... it was adorable !!!!

Hey Sally I was wondering i thought I remembered you saying you tried to put shipped eggs right into the bator without letting them reset for 24hrs. Am I right, how did that work?

Both of my dogs are awesome with my ducks but I would only let marley (nanny) anywhere near babies, jake my other dog look at them and I swear he's licking his chops! But I would tease marley and tell him I was gonna get him a lil hat like the dog in Peter Pan!

My incubator just got knocked aside by an idiot! And I was wondering if this will do any harm to the eggs they basically got a good shaking :(
