One of the CL eggs *may* hatch. I finally got impatient and pulled them out quickly and held them up to my ear and gave them a tap with my fingernail. No response from one, but a thump (not a tap yet!) of movement from the other. Back in they go, and I'm back to sitting on my hands. I don't have any eggs waiting to go in to the incubator, so I'll probably wait until there is no hope what so ever before giving up on these.

Could the droopy neck be a vitamin deficiency, like when they do the head thrown back falling over thing? other then that i don't know, glad they made it

I don't think so, it was stiff and cold and stuck in that shell for 2 days, I should have helped but I was pretty sure it would hatch last night : (
It was so cold and stiff I could hardly open it to length getting it out of the shell it was frozen in a ball basically.
it seems to improve as we go, when it starts eating and drinking I will offer growgel and hope for the best. its very active!

Hope it turns out well, most people including me could probably do with their hands being tied up rather then sitting on them :) lol :)

Sally I read that right after you posted it! I think you are right. Very very wrong. What do I do? I tried to free it's head and found it's foot on top of the head. Nothing about this feels right.
gently pull the membrane to the sides and gently guide its head out of the shell

The muscles should most likely relax over time, he may just have a case of extreme squishiness :)
