Anyone know what these 2 feather footed blue 2 week old chicks are? He only has cochin and brahma they have a tad of tan color just around the eyes,rest is blue/grey..oh and feathering seems a bit more rounded than my brahma chicks, and the comb is too tiny to see what kind. scuse the poop, its clean out shavings time later : ) I tried to search for cochin chicks but colors are all different! weird!

no help from me but they are pretty. how can you tell roo from pullet on silkies? Wait till they crow or lay an egg? My guess would be roo since he seems rather cocky in his pics.

HALO is a ROOSTER?!?! :o !!!!! And uhh I'm just guessin here, but from their faces it those chickies look like a hen and a roo maybe....? Or two hens but I the second just says "roo".... :p I really don't know.... It looks like out of my 4 chicks, Cappa (my silkie) is a hen, Nemo and Pluto are hens, and Appalachia is a rooster

I tried to count all those peeps down stairs yesterday, I think there are 10 partridge brahma and the rest I am clueless! LOL besides the one polish!

Gut tells me Halo is a boy : ( Well all I can say is ROMEO better not pick on him when he goes out with the silks!!

Love it! Gosh, we could've used one of those for Heide when he outgrew our pockets.

I was good today. Went to market and didn't buy any chickens!

(But I ordered some for next week

He didn't have the breed I wanted today.) Oh, I asked him for a roo, if he's got one, otherwise I'll get some fertile eggs from him. Looks like I'm joining the fun after all. Need to look for an incubator...
