you sound JUST like me!Ok... I'm so glad that I am testing my new incubator. It's prooved to be quite the challenge with humidity. With no water and a plug out, it falls between 18-21%. I've beens testing what each of the chambers will register after filling with water. So far, I've figured out what I need to fill to get it between 35-45% and now I'm trying to reach 65% for lockdown. I know there is more allowance on humidity. I'm trying all different combinations four a couple hours at a time. If I don't leave my plug / plugs in, the humidity drops. Am I making too much out of this? Lol! I have a diagram and all kinds of charting going on... Feels like a science project.

Quote: I always feed outside in the run due to the meanies, they will guarded the door and not let anyone in. I feed all babies later in the coop while everyone is out free ranging. They see me coming and the babies start a running after me.
