Ummm I just placed eggs all over my incubator at the start, and hoped that they were in the perfect spots. Now that I know what places are best, I kept them there. I won't give up hope until they are about four days over- due.

Ft. Ducknox is inhabited by 2 ducks now. Just finished the last bit in the dark. Need to return the latches we got and get new ones. For now the door is screwed to the frame. Will post pics tomorrow.

What if they're stuck from shrink- wrapping? Should I candle them and see if they pipped internally??

I feel like I failed or something... I hope they pip soon before my hope disappears.

Ugh! How frustrating! I can completely understand your anguish!

Looks like only 6 of the 14 eggs I put in the bator are fertilized. Ugh! It also looks like the air pocket is on the wrong end of all 6... Could this be? I can see veins but know airpocket up top. I tried to take pictures. They don't show the veining but do show where it lighter. It's hard to take pictures of them.

Oh, wow, that sucks. It does look like the air cell is at the wrong end, but I'm new at hatching eggs, so don't take my advice. I guess you'll need to help them hatch when the time comes.
