Cleaned the little assist guy off and his little wing was glued to his side by the membrane guess it put him off balance he was somewhat sticky too from being pipped so long i guess.Got the wing cleaned fairly well and cleaned him too a few time he can walk now so fingers crossed hes ok

This morning I had two ducklings hatched and one was half out and now when I went for pics she is stiff!!! I almost flipped, she made it that friggen far!!! I pulled her out of the shell and it was filled with globby blood!!!! she musta ruptured her navel veins or something!!! OMG I was so sad!!!! WE ONLY have two ducks and I swear I WILL NEVER EVER HATCH ducks again!! or else I need to do ALOT MORE RESEARCH because I should have done some things different during incubation but I chose dry incubation route.. NOT AGAIN for DUCKS!!!

QUESTION: what kinda dish and depth water do I need for newly hatched ancona ducklings?

They are so stinkin cute! I use regular feeders that I do for my chicks. A day or two and they will start messing really good for you.

Aw, that's sad, But LOOK AT THEIR CUTE LITTLE BEAKS!!

Hey, do you guys think maybe Hope is a boy? I found *her* crowing silently! She's only two weeks old today!!!!:

Too cute. I have a longer video of her doing it over and over. Read the description of the video... it's weird! <3

I also caught a video of her dust bathing with no dust. It was cute. She started her silent crowing right after.

Here are a few pictures I took:

This is Hope dust bathing!! ^

Look how white she is! Her feathers sure are soft and fluffy! Her head fluff is still yellow.
