Should I re- name her if she is a boy? I don't really want to but Hope isn't all that masculine. I like the name Jack. I just came up with it when I noticed her head would pop up like a jack-in-the-box when I'd take a blanket off her head. I'll prolly just keep her name as it is. lol

what did the wing feathers look like right after she hatched? Same length boy different length girl. I think I remember you posting a pic of this but i don't remember for sure.

It's strange. They were the same length, but were really long. I also took the pictures when she was two days old, so maybe they just grew longer. Here's a picture:

Oh, now with closer observation, I can see two layers of feathers! Maybe she's just a very masculine girl. lol

It does look like two sizes but the main feathers look one size. I think that main row of feathers would have a shorter one between each. Giving it a long short, long short kind of pattern. I am not an expert but that is what I understand from reading and looking at pics. I feather sexed my black orps when they hatched and it was obvious differences in feathers when looking at several. Hard to compare when you only have the one to look at.

Look how white she is! Her feathers sure are soft and fluffy! Her head fluff is still yellow.

What kind of a comb is this? ^

awwwwww TOO CUTE if you hold her in both hands, her head facing front away from your belly and you tilt her an tip her head down towards the floor do her tail feathers fan out?? If so He is a SHE!!!
