It does look like two sizes but the main feathers look one size. I think that main row of feathers would have a shorter one between each. Giving it a long short, long short kind of pattern. I am not an expert but that is what I understand from reading and looking at pics. I feather sexed my black orps when they hatched and it was obvious differences in feathers when looking at several. Hard to compare when you only have the one to look at.

awwwwww TOO CUTE if you hold her in both hands, her head facing front away from your belly and you tilt her an tip her head down towards the floor do her tail feathers fan out?? If so He is a SHE!!!

How does that work??? Will the males be too confident that they won't fall and not try and balance themselves?

Okay. I tried and I didn't do it right. Her feet kept steadying her. I am holding her trying to get her to trust me again after all that moving around. She likes me though, so that's good.
