Hahaha PA is pretty much like NH its COLD! I went out the other day and my nose hair froze inside my nose ...went to the coop and tried pouring water into a dish for the hens and the water gelled and started to form into ice right before my eyes! I had never seen that before. I went out and bought more grit...the ducks were trying to eat iceicles ...weirdos
 
OMG that is an awesome video! And whoa it must get really cold up there :hmm if I threw hot water into the air in winter where I live.... I would get wet with hot water xD

Here is a google... we have used this contraption in the sheds and garage for YEARS!! Harmless to everyone else, safer than poison, less stink too...... unless your a mouse or mole....
but you will need a bigger one if you have rats. They wonder up and try to get on the can with PB and it rolls and they fall in the water and drown quickly. Some people make these traps for feeders if they have snakes and stuff.... we had a discussion as to what additive to keep it from freezing... some suggest salt, vinegar and dawn dish detergent.

Might try it...NOthing else works but Dcon Ive tried it all.
They get out of no kill traps and steal the cheese out of half the traps so sick of them...
My interesting story about mice...sort of...
..I had put my cats out to another building couple years ago..bad idea..and the mice found out and invaded.thrown out so much of my good silverware and bowls,pots they got into
Now just one old cat is left .HE kills them in my house and hes a pro...but....He couldnt keep up
Used poison which i dont like to use as i have dogs(and the cat)

Last fall they came in again..One night . my chi was barking her head off in my hall A 2 foot long (skinny) non poisonous snake was curled up there
.Looked like a garterI think. but long one.. .Ran to get a can or bag to corral it in and it disapeared!!
The mice i think come up where the water heater is so i blocked that door off with newpaper thiinking snaky was in there. and would leavie by the hole. .. 2 weeks later found a skin in my grand daughter closet GUG.....Well SHE found it and asked " that isnt a SNAKE Skin is it?"
, Whoops! forgot to tell her it had been in the hall 2 weeks before.
So put poison for the mice down .Dont want to kill it but Granddaughter thought it might come in bed with her.(and it could if it got cold)
Winter now so its asleep someplace IHOPE outside..
Just hope next spring its not some 5 ft long black snake in the house instead of garter size. and hope SO much it went back out!!
At least it helped with mice At times iwished orfro one .......but still. sometimes you really dont want want what you wish for! .Sort of a nightmare..
