Good luck. I found someone selling some breeds I would like locally but it's straight hatchery stock with poor markings, at least on the birds she sent me pics of. Buff brahmas. I like her price ($1 per egg) but the breeding of her brahmas has me concerned that the RIR's are closer to production reds, especially since she hasn't sent one pic of her RIR, which she told me would be the majority of the eggs as her Brahmas aren't laying well yet.

Sally, you're a Brahma expert. What do you think? Would I get irritated customers if these are what their chicks grew to be?

It was a random pick because I signed up for the new years hatch along. What will they look like? I am waiting to hear back from 3D I decided I will keep 4 and if she wants I will send her the rest for Hope ...thats if she hasn't already found eggs

i have not read on further but 3D is in another country. you cant just ship her eggs.

I like most chickens LMAO!!!   If your going to resell them as hatchery stock you wont get as much money for them..... she is local right?? 

I was planning on asking $2.75 or $3. :/ I figure since the hatchery she bought them from sells them straight run for over $4 ea plus shipping...

Wow go to work and I miss out on all the good info!! I think I am really Su*$^** at the hatch goins on....hatched 4.. well, they did but I watched REAL close like!
then two more.1 ok....1 in trouble died...then Two more 1 died ...the second.... in trouble..so I stepped in too soon but darned if that little chirp got stronger...sigh...this is more stressful than delivering humans, not that we allow that in the ER but sometimes, just can't the moms to keep their legs clamped before getting them up to L&D!!

But I digress....here is the video.

I have pics of the parts and part of the assembly in my profile I'm planning on taking more when I attatch everything tomorrow. Tonight was just a test run to see if it worked or if I needed to move things. Thankfully it all worked like it was supposed to on the first try!
I'm hoping to get some wheaten amereucanas and some olive eggers. I'm planning on selling eggs and I want to have colorful ones. I had bad luck with hatchery stock though (lots of meat and blood spots. I don't mind them but it does make it hard to sell) so I'm hoping to buy from BYCers because i know y'all select against that.
