I suggest since people are too cheap to add a bit of extra warmth in with live chicks wait until spring to order them, I was promised extra roos for warmth with the spitz, they added two and those are even dead! and both of these packaging had just a tiny bit of fake grass 1/2" thick on the bottom, not on any sides or anything for them to huddle to keep warm.

Even though I have guarantees on my chicks, that's more losses than shipped eggs. How does this play on pocketbook vs conscience? that's a good question one I am fighting now. THOUGHTS?

Can you get them in egg form so you can hatch them?

That really sucks.

Is there anywhere else you can order from? Maybe you should wait until the weather warms up to order them again.

Sally don't let this weigh on your conscience. The person shipping should have added extra warmth and plenty of padding. My guess is that they really did not know what they were doing. Hopefully they replace your chicks.

I know, just a major lesson learned.... now I dont know how they will deal with replacements or cash refunds.... monday comes soon enough Thanks everyone
